Kindergarten enrollment

In addition to the parents completing the questionnaire, the following documentation must be submitted for enrollment:

For the child:

• Letter of rejection from the city of Belgrade
• Extract from the birth registry
• Photocopy of vaccination records
• Confirmation from the pediatrician that the child can be included in the team

For the applicant (one parent):

• Photocopy of a scanned ID card
• Certificate of citizenship

At Mega Kids Kindergarten, we believe that a child’s first encounter with kindergarten is an extremely important moment — that’s why we approach adaptation with a lot of understanding and tenderness. Adaptation lasts five days, and the time the child spends in kindergarten is gradually extended, in accordance with their pace and needs.

The educator is fully committed to each child, providing them with a sense of security and the attention they need to feel accepted and loved.
Parents are not alone in this process — our facility coordinator, along with the entire team, is there to provide support, answer any questions, and share all important information.

We believe that through collaboration, trust and support, we build an environment together in which the child feels safe, loved and free to explore, learn and develop at their own pace.

When including a child in the team, it is necessary to submit the following documentation:

• A pediatrician’s certificate that the child is healthy
• A photocopy of the vaccination record

During the first days, when the child is adapting, it is necessary to bring:

• Slippers
• Diapers (if the child uses them)
• Wet wipes and creams that the child uses
• Product for maintaining the child’s personal hygiene, if the child is washed after changing diapers
• A towel or tetra diaper for use after washing the child
• A pacifier on a chain or in a box and a bottle that the child uses, which we will keep at the kindergarten
• A spare change of clothes
• Pajamas

Mega Kids Kindergarten has a successful and continuous cooperation with the Secretariat for Education and Child Protection, which allows parents to enroll their children with a subsidy from the City of Belgrade.

The subsidized amount is paid directly into the kindergarten’s account, completely relieving parents of additional obligations and administration related to payments subject to the subsidy.

The work program implemented at the “Mega Kids” preschool has been verified by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia, confirming that we meet all legal requirements in terms of space, equipment, staff and content of educational work.

Our preschool implements a regular program of educational work, as well as a preparatory preschool program, which are in line with modern standards and the needs of children of different ages.

In our work with children, we also apply “Years of Takeoff”, the official framework concept for the development of programs in preschool institutions, which has been implemented in the Republic of Serbia since 2020. This approach places the child at the center of the educational process and encourages their natural curiosity, investigative spirit, creativity, and overall development.
